During conversion, your files exist temporarily in our secure systems:

• Files are held only during active conversion (typically 1-30 seconds)
• Converted files are available for download for up to 1 hour
• All file data is automatically purged from our systems after processing

2. Conversion Process Security

We implement multiple security measures to protect your data during conversion:

• End-to-end encryption: All file transfers use TLS 1.2+ protocols
• Isolated processing: Each conversion occurs in a secure, ephemeral container
• Memory-only processing: Files are never written to disk during conversion

When you use PDFixPro:

1. Your file is encrypted during upload (in your browser)
2. The encrypted file is transmitted to our conversion servers
3. File is decrypted in memory for processing
4. Converted file is immediately re-encrypted
5. You download the encrypted result which is decrypted in your browser
6. All temporary data is purged within 60 minutes

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

3.1 Essential Cookies

We use only minimal cookies required for service operation:

• Payment processors if you choose to use premium features (they receive only transaction data)
